Color blindness - Color blindness, or color vision deficiency, in humans is the inability to perceive differences between some or all colors that other people can distinguish. It is most often of genetic nature, but may also occur because of eye, nerve, or brain damage, or due to exposure to certain chemicals.
Color grading - Color grading is the process of altering and enhancing the color of a motion picture or television image, either electronically, photo-chemically or digitally. The photo-chemical process is also referred to as color-timing and is typically performed at a photographic laboratory using optical filters.
Handschiegel Color Process - The Handschiegel color process was a stencil color technique used on motion picture film to give the effect of real color. Using the process, analine dyes are applied to a black and white print using gelatin imbibition matrices.
Color agnosia - Color agnosia (agnosia: Greek for non-knowledge) is a medical or psychological condition that prevents a person from recognizing colors (even though the eyes are capable of distinguishing them). It is a specific form of agnosia, and generally results from damage to the visual cortex, often in V4 (as opposed to most other kinds of color blindness, which derive from photoreceptors.
